Any Ball Glove Into A Radar Speed Gun!
The Glove Radar is a small Doppler radar velocity sensor which attaches to a
baseball or softball glove to measure the speed of the ball just before it is
caught. It is easily attached to, and removed from virtually any ball glove.
The purpose of Glove Radar is to assist in developing players' throwing capabilities
by providing a measure of velocity improvement which results from using proper
throwing techniques. By learning the proper way to condition, train, warm-up,
and throw, players can achieve their best accuracy and velocity performance,
while reducing the risks of injury to their arm and body.
Sensors Glove Radar features:
- The Glove Radar is truly
a microwave Doppler radar that attaches to the back of a ball glove
- Measures the speed of
balls thrown from any distance
a few feet before it is caught
- Radar "sees" through
the ball glove, which is essentially transparent to the microwave energy
- Typically measures ball
speed within plus or minus one mile per hour of popular "radar speed guns"
- Can be used to aid
any player - infielders and outfielders, as well as pitchers and catchers
- Professional and amateur
players can use the Glove Radar when warming-up
- Young ballplayers will
benefit from velocity information when tossing or training, and will have
fun using it
- Improve consistency
and accuracy with less arm strain
- Sealed to protect the
internal electronics from dust, dirt and moisture
- Strong, weather-resistant
nylon cord, facilitates attachment to virtually any ball glove
- Operates with power
from a single-cell three volt lithium battery
