Louisville Slugger Series 3 Genuine Maple C271 Wood Bat

Baseball's biggest hitters choose maple for its harder hitting surface and greater durability. The Series 3 Genuine Maple wood bats are pulled from Louisville Slugger's original production line for some minor flaw that will not affect the bat's performance. These small production errors mean deep savings on superior bats ideal for practice, batting cages or even games.

Features:

  • Professional grade, handpicked maple starting billet for consistent hardness
  • Cupped end to improve balance and ensure a higher density piece of wood
  • Balanced swing weight for faster swing speed
  • Black finish
  • Weight: (-1) to (-3) oz. drop (weight can vary depending on wood density)

Louisville Slugger Genuine 3 Series C271 Maple Wood Bat is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from great bat My son uses this for cage work, but he could use it in a game, has decent pop and he handles the weight good, he is 6' 165 lbs 14 yr old and swings a 33/30 bat and can square a pitch at 90 mph in the cage. So far durability has not been a problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality of a bat I bought this bat with great expectations, and read the great reviews which helped make my decision on the purchase, but on my first use of the bat, which was my last may I add, was very disappointing. It broke on the first swing playing on my Sunday league. I am very disappointed on the poor quality, especially being a Louisville Slugger brand. I do not recommend this bat, and I hope I receive some kind of refund or replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing deals!! I bought these a month ago bc even though I'm 36 years old; I play in an 18+ wooden bat league bc I love the game so much. My dad & I also coach baseball at a Christian school and he wanted a bar as well so I got him the 31'' bat. I've played in 3 games so far and taken a few rounds of BP and I love the bats. Thank you for the great deals as well as quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from swinging this red hot bat This was the second one I got for my son, who played U10 and became NYC Boro Cup championship winner team in 2017. This one I bought was a back up in case the first one broke. This high quality bat made with solid wood that felt good on hand and swung great at bat. His teammate spent $200 plus for a bat that broke after a few at bat at the first game. Now I still have two to carry on for the fall league and may be 2018. For the quality of this bat and the cost to own one...no brainier....

weight??

Asked by: gonzalo
The weight is (-1) to (-3) oz. drop (weight can vary depending on wood density). The bat will weigh between 1-3 oz less than the length of the bat. So for example if you order a 32" bat, it will weigh between 29 and 31 oz.

What is B.B. Core?

Asked by: left field7
BBCOR is the current standard that governs adult baseball bats and all high school and college bats must be BBCOR-certified. It is the acronym for Batted Ball Coefficient of Restitution which measures and regulates the trampoline effect of a bat to ensure it performs more like wood. All BBCOR bats have a barrel diameter of 2 5/8" and a (-3) length-to-weight ratio.
