Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy! I purchased this set to replace my daughter's current gear in hopes that the leg guards would stay on. I'm so glad I did. This set was a risk well worth the reward, 3 games and a tournament under our belt and never once did she have to stop and reattach thre straps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great variety I bought youth catchers gear. I ordered wrong size. I had to return it and get smaller size. customer service was great. No hassles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Deal! Great fit. Really like the leg guards attachment hooks, they have a dimple so when they are latched they snap in and do not come undone all the time like many hook and ring do. Helmet is very nice and in stores about the price of the whole set together. Sweet deal for sure!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works wonderfully I bought this catchers gear a few weeks ago for my 8 and 5 year old grandsons. It's easy to put on and they were able to move freely and get in front of the ball even though I would throw it wild. The boys both enjoyed using the equipment. I'm probably going to be buying another set once the baseball season starts. Would recommend it for anyone with kids interested in being a catcher.

Can the Youth Easton Catcher Gear Set (age 9-12) be shipped by December 8, 2016

Asked by: Coach Lou GM
I doubt it. We ordered ours in the summer. It's been on back order since then. It was supposed to ship in early November then. Now, it says Dec. 22, but I doubt it. Yet, Baseball Savings continues to offer the product. I don't know how they can offer it and not ship it to customers.

My son is 55 inches tall. What size gear would he wear?

Asked by: JenniferS
I would not be able to say off that measurement alone. Please refer to the size chart listed under the "specs/sizing" tab on this item page.

What is the difference between youth 6-8 and 9-12? Is it just that the chest protector is bigger?

Asked by: MR T
Both the chest protector and the leg guards would be bigger on the set for ages 9-12

What sizes do we get for catchers set for 54 inch tall boy and his going to be 9 years old in a month.

Asked by: BaseballMom1588
Unfortunately, this is s closeout set. Normally, we would recommend the set for ages 9-12, however, that size has sold out.

On the Easton Youth Black Magic catchers gear set for 9-12 yrs. Do you have the option of choosing which chest protector and leg guards to get with the set? I see you have Mako,M7, M5 and others, so that makes me think you choose which pads you want.

Asked by: labsr4me
Unfortunately we don't have the option to break up this set and pick which items you would get.

My son just turned 8 should I get the 6 to 8 or the 9 to 12?

Asked by: Larry 84
I would go with 9 to 12 unless he is small for 8 years old. That way you get more usage.
